To begin with, in my opinion all the presentations were very good. I was in group 2, and we were talking about Self-care. Group 3 discussed the benefits of good eating and group 1 talked about paying it forward. Everything that each student talked about was very important, it all contributed to our well-being. During all the presentations I realized that I could change a few things in my life to live wealthier, taking care of myself is a priority for me. I would like to exercise more and eat healthier instead of eating so much junk food. Even when I eat healthy food, I feel more energy, and I am more active to do my daily routine. Junk food makes me feel tired, sleepy, and very full. That is being caused by the amount of chemicals being used in a product or making it. People do not seem to realize the effect it can have on their bodies by eating so much junk food, and they keep consuming all of that. Another example is chips and sweets, eating a bag of chips every day damages your body, especially Takis. The things Takis are made from and the red prouder has, are toxic to our bodies. People always used to say how breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Honestly, I did not think this was true until a few years ago. When I was younger, I never ate in the morning, I always wanted to eat at lunch. So, during the morning I was in school with an empty stomach, and I was always very tired and not focused on doing my assignments. Years later, during high school, I wanted to change that. I started waking up a little earlier to make breakfast, I started eating before going to school and I felt more prepared and ready to learn. Food in the morning is like fuel, it gives you power throughout the day to complete your tasks. Since then, I always eat food when I wake up to get ready for my day. Eating in general is one of the best things for me, it brings me so much joy, food is one of the best pressures of life. Sleeping is always a great feeling, especially when you get home from work after a long day. Sleep plays a vital role in recharging your body and mind so that you wake up feeling awake and rejuvenated. The body needs proper sleep to be healthy and fend off illnesses. Sleep is essential for the brain's optimal functioning. This may make it more difficult for you to focus, think clearly, and process memories. Most individuals need seven hours or more of sleep per night. Children and teens require far more sleep than adults do, especially if they are under five years old. Medical issues, work schedules, daily worries, and an unsettling bedroom environment can all keep us from getting adequate sleep.

In addition, the way group 1 talked about paying it forward was very well explained. Giving is a nice thing to do, no question about it. Just consider the joy you get when you give to others. And while we tend to focus on how others will profit from our giving, several studies demonstrate that it is healthy for everyone engaged on a mental and physical level. You already know how rewarding it is if you have ever donated money to a worthy cause, assisted someone in need, or just helped someone in any way you could. There is nothing like the sensation you get when you see the look of gratitude on someone's face. You experience happiness when you take part in activities designed to benefit other people. Giving to others makes you feel happy right away; it's a wonderful sensation. Paying it forward creates a positive vibe and serves as an example for others. When others witness your happiness following a helpful gesture, they are more likely to follow suit to experience the same joy. Giving is contagious, just like laughter. You give back to your community when you give to an individual. In fact, kindness spirals out of control as you inspire others in your community to be kind to one another.

My group explained the benefits of self-care, and how it’s a big part of a person’s life. Taking care of your physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual needs in order to feel at peace and in harmony with yourself is known as self-care. Self-care may be seen by many as an extravagance or needless activity. Taking care of oneself, however, reduces stress, depression, and physical illnesses while boosting happiness, self-esteem, and general well-being. Adopting self-care is a crucial and advantageous habit. Self-care can take many different forms, such as social, mental, emotional, and physical. These exercises can lead to a more balanced and fulfilling life. A healthy diet, regular exercise, and adequate sleep are all parts of physical self-care. Since stress stays in our bodies, it's critical to learn how to de-stress and release tension. The foundation of spiritual self-care is faith or religious rituals. Outside of religion, you can better align your mind, body, and spirit by practicing meditation, journaling, or other similar practices. Building and sustaining wholesome relationships with others is a key component of social self-care. People might, for instance, actively participate in activities that promote connection, join social or community groups, ask friends and family for support, or spend quality time with their loved ones. The goal of emotional self-care is to nurture and control one's emotions. Positive examples include keeping a journal, meditating or practicing mindfulness, being creative, going to therapy, and spending time with loved ones. Taking good care of your physical well-being is essential to self-care. By establishing a regular sleep schedule and a calming bedtime routine, you might want to improve your sleep hygiene. Making a healthy, well-balanced diet a priority can also improve your general well-being. Your mood and energy levels can be improved by providing your body with nutritious food. In conclusion, all the presentation gave amazing information, and my classmates did a good job explaining everything. There were a lot of visuals compared to the last presentation, I liked how they added graphs and pictures. Communication is key for a successful presentation, my group is very good at that, we have learned to get better and communicate more over time.
